Clean-up Drive Commemorating Gandhi Jayanti at Muringoor Divine Railway Station

Muringoor Divine Railway Station, Chalakudy, witnessed a remarkable clean-up drive on October 2, 2023, in commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti and as part of the Swachh Bharat initiative. Organized by the National Service Scheme Unit No. 293 of Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, the event was inaugurated by the college principal.

From 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, a dedicated team of 15 volunteers actively participated in the clean-up drive, under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officer and the Station Master of Divine Railway Station. This noble endeavor exemplified the spirit of community service and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's vision of cleanliness and hygiene.
