The Electoral Literacy Club of Nirmala College of Arts and Science organized the “Know Your Vote, Claim Your Voice” – Election Awareness & Voter Registration Drive on 10th September 2026 at the NCAS Seminar Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. K. A. Jacob, AERO & Tahsildar, Chalakudy Taluk. Mr. Shaju P. D., Deputy Tahsildar (Election), conducted the awareness session on voter registration, electoral procedures, and responsible voting. Mr. Prajul, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), and Mr. Vinoj George, Revenue Inspector, Taluk Office, Chalakudy, also attended the programme, with Mr. Prajul explains the importance of checking voter details and ensuring eligible citizens are included in the voters’ list. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from 221 students and successfully promoted electoral literacy, civic responsibility, and informed participation in the democratic process.
