The Department of English organised a Newspaper Making Competition on 12 September 2025 at 2:40 PM in the S5 BA English classroom. Five students from the S5 BA English batch actively participated in the event.During the competition, students collected diverse news articles, images, and write-ups from daily newspapers and creatively arranged them on chart papers to design their own newspaper layout. Each participant presented their chart, demonstrating their understanding of news writing, layout design, and the different types of news that shape everyday life. The activity helped students develop creativity, improve their organisational skills, and gain a better understanding of journalistic styles.
