The Women Development Cell of Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, Chalakudy organized a programme titled “She Can Defend: Empowerment through Self-Defence” on 22nd July 2026 at 10.00 am in the NCAS Seminar Hall. The resource persons for the programme- Ms. Gigi V.V. and Ms. Sindhu T.K., Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police from Vanitha Police Station, Thrissur Rural conducted an informative and interactive session.The programme aimed to create awareness about women’s safety, personal protection, and self-confidence among students.A major highlight of the programme was the practical demonstration of self-defence techniques, where the officers showcased effective methods to handle physical threats and escape from dangerous situations.
