The Department of Food Technology, Nirmala College of Arts & Science, in association with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an expert talk as part of the World Entrepreneurship Day 2026 celebrations.The programme was conducted on 10 August 2026 (Monday) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Nirmala Seminar Hall. The session focused on “Product Development and Entrepreneurship in the Innovation Economy”, with the objective of creating awareness among students about entrepreneurship, innovation, product development, and the opportunities available in the emerging entrepreneurial ecosystem.The session was led by Mr. Najeeb Bin Haneef, CEO & Founder, Zaara Biotech. Drawing from his entrepreneurial experience, the resource person provided students with valuable insights into the process of transforming innovative ideas into viable products and entrepreneurial ventures.
