The PG Department of Commerce at Nirmala College of Arts and Science organized a successful 10-day workshop on "Research Skill Development" from 22nd to 31st August 2024, led by Prof. (Dr.) Antony Joseph K, Dean of Academics at STGITS College of Applied Sciences. Aimed at enhancing research skills among 126 participants, the workshop covered essential topics such as research problem formulation, data analysis using SPSS, and scientific writing. The sessions were designed to provide both theoretical understanding and practical experience, with a strong focus on applying statistical methods in research.The workshop inaugurated by Principal Prof.(Dr) Shaju Ouseph and concluded with a valedictory function, Ms. Daly Sajeev, Vice Chairperson of Nirmala Institutions was the chief guest, where participants expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive and hands-on nature of the training, highlighting its significant impact on their academic research abilities. The event reaffirmed the department's commitment to fostering a robust research culture.
