The Department of Food Technology, Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Meloor, Chalakudy, successfully organized a Presentation Competition "FOODNOVA 2025" on the theme "Emerging Food Processing Technologies" on 8th October 2025 at the NICE Seminar Hall.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Augustine Amalraj, Lead Scientist, Department of Research and Development, Molecules Biolabs Pvt. Ltd., Koratty, Thrissur. In his inaugural address, Dr. Amalraj highlighted the importance of technological advancements in the food industry and encouraged students to adopt innovative and research-oriented approaches in the field of food processing and product development.
